Description

The BR 5000W is a microprocessor-controlled test system rig that can be both used for inspection, testing and fine-tuning of electrical generators and as test rig for unloading and loading. 

It features a powerful microprocessor allowing multiple settings, ranging from trials in automatic mode with programmable voltage thresholds for over and under-voltage, etc., to trials in manual mode, through which loads can be added in 22 steps, and in case one of the levels programmed is crossed (over or under), the alarm system automatically comes into operation, together with the indication of the cause of the alarm, and the consequent trial interruption. 

As temperature control is essential for any test rig, the BR 5000W continuously controls the system temperature, and through a simple screen indicator, temperature progression can be observed. In case high-temperature is registered, load comes immediately out of service, and the cooling system is forced until acceptable operating values are recovered.

The BR 5000W digitally measures voltage received, current flowing and frequency on a permanent basis.
